Traditional and Contemporary Cultural Healing

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People the link between healing and culture is inseparable. At Mental Health Drug & Alcohol when a First Nations person receives a service the option of including traditional or contemporary cultural healing needs to be included in their treatment plan.

We are interested in hearing from you about your or a loved one's experiences in being able to include cultural healing in your recovery journey (whether it was supported by the health service or done independently) and what benefits you gained from including cultural healing. Your feedback will be used to demonstrate a need for cultural healing to be an option as part of your care when accessing Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services.

All feedback will be anonymous on this section of the website and if you feel passionate about this and want to be involved please register to be part of the First Nations Advisory Group.
