We asked people in our community with lived experience of mental health, drug or alcohol issues, including those supporting loved ones, to help us create a resource which will be useful to people who are thinking about calling Accessline.
The Accessline leaflet provides people with information about what to expect when they contact Accessline to help them feel more confident in making a call when they need to.
About Accessline
Accessline is a phone service for people experiencing mental health, drug or alcohol issues. It is available to all people living in or visiting the Murrumbidgee region and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Accessline aims to support people experiencing mental health, drug or alcohol issues and connect them with services that can assist them.
We are aware that many people in our community may not know about Accessline, or are not sure what to expect when they make a call.
In addition to the new leaflet, we have also created a page on the Murrumbidgee Local Health District website which explains more about the service and answers common questions.
